- High-res textures in Hexen ends up being quite an eye-opener about how sloppy they were with texture alignment in those maps. But that does look surprisingly good for something algorithmic. A little rough around some edges, but still surprisingly good.
This HD Texture Pack for Doom upscales the textures via AI Neural Networks and looks incredible December 18, 2018 John Papadopoulos 17 Comments Doom purists, here is something special.

Doom 3 Bfg Edition High Res Textures
Wulfen remade over 500 new textures and now most of the textures are 16-36 times bigger than the original doom 3 textures. The majority of the textures have height maps, so they look really wonderful with parallax occlusion mapping or relief mapping.
Wulfen might release an update at a later date with some more additions. Those interested can download it from here.
